President and Treasurer Elections
325th AIR Association Meet and Greet
Hall of Heroes Conference Room
Wednesday, May 22, 1230-1400.
The 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment Association will hold elections for the Board of Directors during All American Week 2024 at Fort Liberty. This is a great opportunity for members of the association to have their voices heard and vote for the future leadership of the organization. The positions up for election this year are President and Treasurer.
The President is the highest-ranking officer in the association's leadership structure. The President is responsible for overseeing all operations of the association, developing strategic plans, and ensuring that the organization achieves its goals and objectives. The President presides over all meetings, represents the association in public and private affairs, and provides leadership and direction to other members of the Board.
The Treasurer is another vital position on the Board of Directors. The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the association, including maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Treasurer reports on the financial health of the organization to the Board and the membership and plays a crucial role in the financial planning and sustainability of the association.
These two positions are essential to the smooth and effective operation of the Regiment Association. The President and Treasurer work closely together and with other members of the Board to ensure that the association is meeting the needs of its members and advancing its mission. The upcoming elections provide an opportunity for members to choose the individuals who will lead the organization in the coming years.
Prosperity of the Association
For our Association to prosper, it's crucial that we align the skills of candidates with the needs of the Board and the Association. Namely, the skills described above for the President and Treasurer.
However, there are many skills that would be beneficial to our organization that do not require a position on the Board of Directors. These other skills could place you on a project-based committee. For example, we are planning a fundraiser and it would be beneficial to have someone with experience in marketing, social media, fundraiser planning, corporate relationships for donations, etc. If you are interested in being involved in the growth of the Regiment Association, please send us an email.
Responsibilities of Board Membership
